Tatiana van Steveninck is a Masters student from The Netherlands. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Utrecht. During her studies, she was part of an exchange program and undertook research projects in Australia, Singapore, and Wales where she developed a fascination for evolutionary aspects of snakes and snake venom.
At the moment she is completing her Master’s degree in Evolutionary Biology and Science Based Business at the University Leiden. In February, she will start a 5 month business research project in Hobart describing competitive aspects of the Centre for Marine Socioecology within an Australian context. She will also aim to determine the value of projects and the way they influence the demand for research centres connected to Universities or companies.
