Manon Simon is PhD candidate from Brittany, France. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Public and International Law from the University of Poitiers, before pursuing a LL.M. in Environmental and Natural Resources Law at the University of Oregon, USA. She started her PhD in 2017 at the University of Wuhan, China, working on international regulations of weather modification activities. In 2019, she transferred to UTAS where she now conducts research on the relevance of weather modification laws and policies for solar geoengineering governance. She is currently working on a comparative analysis of the American and Australian weather modification regulatory frameworks.
