Beth Penrose is an agricultural scientist at the Research Institute for Northern Agriculture, working on the links between environment and management and systems health. She works between multiple disciplines, researching at the nexus of agriculture, aquaculture, zoology, sustainability, geology and nutrition. Her marine work has looked at the effects of environment and management on the nutritional composition of fish for human health, sustainability of animal feeds and risk of contaminants from decommissioning oil and gas structures.
