Bio

I come to this PhD with over 20 years of experience in marine resource research, management, policy and advocacy. I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science (Fisheries)(Honours) at the Australian Maritime College in 2000. I have since worked in a variety of roles including fisheries research/development in Ireland, senior fisheries management roles in South Australia and Tasmania, independent consultancy work and over the last four years I was the Executive Officer for the Commonwealth Fisheries Association (the peak industry body for Commonwealth-managed fisheries).
