My research explores whether Australia’s MPA management plans are “climate ready”. The study will identify “best practice” climate management settings from peer-reviewed literature and experts and assess whether these criteria have been incorporated within Australia’s MPA management plans. Before starting at IMAS, my background was focused on community engagement and conservation, and I worked closely with climate-focused not-for-profits to help them expand their impact. I am passionate about connecting science with policy and engaging with stakeholders to promote cooperation.
