Dr Megan Saunders is an interdisciplinary marine scientist who specializes in marine and coastal ecosystem restoration. She works at CSIRO Environment in Hobart, Australia and co-leads the Australian Coastal Restoration Network. She does research and communication to share evidence of outcomes and examples of success for coastal and marine ecosystem restoration for inspiring people to take individual and collective action. Her research includes projects funded by the NESP Marine and Coastal Hub as well as by state and commonwealth agencies. Her research develops the knowledge based needed to overcome current barriers and to scale up restoration programs.
