Do you enjoy card games?  Want to support marine science? Come and play The Big Fish Game, a fun, ocean-themed card game exploring sustainable recreational fishing.

What’s Involved

  • Play The Big Fish Game
  • Complete short pre- and post-surveys
  • (Optional) Join discussions about oceans and sustainability

Who Can Join

  • Youth (12–17) – with parental/guardian consent
  • Adults (18+)
    No prior knowledge required—just curiosity and a willingness to have fun.

Youth Sessions (Ages 12–17)

  • Sustainability Learning Centre, Mt Nelson
    Sunday 30 November | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Youth Arts and Recreation Centre, Hobart
    Wednesday 3 December | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Adult Session

  • Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS)
    Saturday 6 December | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • University of Tasmania (UTAS) – Studio Theatre

Thursday 11 December | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
