Curious Climate Schools 2021

Event Date: 12 November, 2021

Is it too late to save the planet?” “How does climate change affect wildlife?” “Why are people reluctant to reduce their use of fossil fuels?” Tasmanian young people have lots of questions about climate change, and we’re here to answer them!

Curious Climate Schools aims to empower students from grades 5-12 to ask questions about the climate – and to have those questions answered directly by climate experts from all kinds of disciplinary backgrounds – including IPCC lead authors!

Teachers were asked to register their classes online and upload students questions in September. Climate experts woud respond to student questions in time for the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) on Nov 1-12.

The experts have responded all the questions and the answers will be released on Nov 1! Visit curiousclimate.org.au/schools to find the answers!
