Bio

Anne completed her PhD at the University of Tasmania where her research focused on marine protection in Antarctica’s Southern Ocean. Anne has since worked with the Tasmanian Land Conservancy (TLC) as the recipient of The Nature Conservancy 2024 Barbara Thomas Fellowship, to upgrade and implement a new Conservation Prioritisation System to increase the TLC's biodiversity assessment capabilities and improve Tasmania's biodiversity conservation approach. Anne has also worked with the Centre for Conservation Geography to provide expert technical support and advice to government and non-government stakeholders for conservation planning projects across a range of Australian marine and terrestrial environments.
