I am a media and communication scholar whose teaching and research is informed by a deep curiosity about the communication of complex and challenging environmental issues. With a background in environmental advocacy and news journalism, my interdisciplinary research focuses on media representations of protest, policy debates, science, and environmental litigation in Australia. My latest book is Green Lawfare: The Strategic Use of Law in Mediatized Environmental Conflict (2024).
