I hold a PhD in Conservation Psychology, and my research predominantly investigates peoples’ fear of sharks and how experiences with sharks (e.g. the media) can impact fear and perception of risk. More broadly, I conduct research into broader media impacts upon sustainability, individual sustainable behaviours, attitudes toward marine conservation, and connection to nature. Having worked in industry roles in market research and behavioural science, I bring a deep understanding of human behaviour to all my research projects.
