Originally born in Midwest America, Cara has enjoyed a research focused career in Australia. Here, she applies expertise in Human Factors and Human Centred Design to help develop digital tools for the Australian land sector. With broad interests in human cognition, decision making and technology acceptance, her current projects aim to deliver usable science-based insights to support initiatives like developing adaptation pathways and emerging environmental markets (e.g. carbon farming). Cara has a strong interest in research ethics and responsible innovation. She enjoys living an active lifestyle in Hobart.
