Caitie Kuempel (Griffith University, Queensland) was hosted by Assoc Prof Christopher Brown in November 2023. Dr Kuempel presented in the CMS Seminar Series 2023. Caitie is a conservation scientist with interests in sustainable seafood, land-sea interactions, and conservation planning. Caitie is passionate about finding ways to meet the needs of the growing human population while minimising impacts on the environment – particularly in the world’s oceans.
