Joe researches in the areas of climate adaptation law, climate justice and resilience thinking at the University of Newcastle (NSW). His research examines the vital role that laws and governments play in supporting fair and flexible adaptation to climate impacts and environmental change. Joe hopes to contribute to the development of laws, legal frameworks and processes that better account for the unequal distribution of climate impacts, including in the coastal context.
