Dr Linda Murray is a public health academic who teaches into the Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Public Health at Massey University. She is a social epidemiologist specialising in the social determinants of health and participatory methodologies. She was the recipient of the Prime Minister’s Asia Australia Award (2010) and the Cheung Kong Endeavour scholarship (2014) for her research into maternal and child health in low-and-middle income settings (Vietnam). In 2018-19 she is part of the interdisciplinary Future Seas project, exploring the intersections between human and ocean health, particularly in relation to nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
