Matt Andreotta is a postdoctoral fellow at CSIRO. Matt is a psychologist interested in belief formation and change. He blends psychology with data science to identify meaningful patterns in large data sets that reflect public perceptions and opinions. He has applied his methods to pressing issues, such as climate change, the influence of misinformation, and the detection of research with misconduct or integrity concerns.
Currently, Matt developing semi-automated approaches to monitor social acceptance within the marine context. Matt's goal is to pre-empt social conflict and understand public support of marine resource use.
