Richard's research explores the importance of aquatic-terrestrial linkages in the food system for sustainability outcomes, particularly aquaculture’s role at this ecosystem interface. In the pursuit of better understanding cross-sector interactions, Rich’s research covers broad topics from the potential of novel feeds and foods to food system shocks and global comparisons of the environmental sustainability of aquatic and terrestrial foods.
