Bio

Kathryn is a feminist anthropologist who is passionate about ensuring gender equity and social inclusion (GESI) is a key consideration in all research for development. Kathryn works primarily on the ACIAR-funded project “Gender Equality and Social Inclusion”. She leads the localisation of GESI in ACIAR projects as the Centres of Engagement manager.

Kathryn is based in Canberra as an embedded researcher within the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research. She has a background in international development, capacity building, human rights research and campaigning, and government relations. She is currently undertaking her PhD at the ANU.
