Bio

Monique is a trawlwoolway plangermaireener pakana woman currently completing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology and minoring in Ecology/Botany, at the University of Tasmania. Her passion and research interests are guided by her ancestral connections on tayaritja/Furneaux Islands in the Bass Strait; Monique plans to undertake further study relating to the effects of climate change, especially the influence on cultural practices, both in marine and terrestrial environments.
