CMS Workshop: “How to communicate science on TikTok”, by Zoe Kean

The Centre for Marine Socioecology will be hosting this science communication on TikTok workshop. This workshop will teach you the basics of shooting and editing your own science tiktok. Zoe will help you identify your aims and audience so you can use the app to communicate the ideas you want to the right audience.

Bio:

Zoe Kean's work focuses on the environment, ecology and evolution. She has volunteered in community radio and made documentaries for ABC RN, is published in ABC Science, The Guardian (UK) and was previously assistant director of the Beaker Street Festival, Tasmania's annual celebration of science and art. Zoe spends her time observing the universe and her wonder for it by telling stories of science and nature. She shares her love of science and nature with people from around the world on her TikTok channel: zoe_kean_sci
