Rebecca is a Marine Social Scientist at the Australian National University. Her research focuses on Ocean Literacy, knowledge exchange, marine governance and Marine Protected Areas. Before joining ANU, Rebecca worked for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs where she developed and delivered a portfolio of research to build a robust social science evidence base for marine and coastal policy in the UK. She completed her PhD in Medical Studies in 2020. Her PhD was based at Plymouth Marine Laboratory and the University of Exeter (UK) and examined oceans and human health.
